I bought these ferrules to fit a set of Ercol coffee tables. Previously I had used adhesive felt to stop the feet scratching our tiled floors. But because the pieces of felt had to be so small they tended to fall off. The silicone ferrules are much better. They can't fall off and, because they are made of clear silicone, they aren't too obvious. You do need to measure carefully to make sure you order the correct size.
