As someone who relies on underarm crutches, navigating the wooden ramps placed over temple steps in India has always been a challenge for me. This ferrule saved my sanity! I had a total hip replacement at the end of August this year just as the weather got wet, wet, wet! The ferrule on the NHS Crutch I was using was hopeless in the wet! I was feeling great in myself but couldn't get out even in the garden because of the slippy ferrule, after being told about this product via a friend I was able to start making walking progress without the worry of slipping, It gave me so much confidence and I can't give the company enough praise, I spoke to someone on the phone who advised me of what size to order and he posted it out as we spoke! These are brilliant. The old fixed ferrules slipped in the wet and were dangerous. These Slipnott ferrules lie flat whatever the angle of the crutch is and they do not slip! Highly recommend
