After the recent purchase of new sofas I soon realised that they were too cumbersome to move comfortably on my own without causing damage to either the floor or myself! As one of the sofas gets moved on a regular basis, sometimes daily, to allow egress/exit of a parrot cage it was a necessity to find a solution.......as I neither wished to change the sofa or get rid of the parrot. I found this company, Rubber Ferules, after searching online, their website was easy to use, prices comparative and they had a good assortment of gliders. I decided to take a gamble with the 40mm self adhesive glides, knowing that if they were totally unsuitable I hadn't 'lost' much money and if the self adhesive wasn't strong enough I could always purchase some gorilla glue. The gliders arrived within a couple of days of order and I attached them with the self adhesive pads included, to date the gliders are still in place without the need for any gorilla glue. I can honestly say that the gliders are a life changer, I can literally slide the sofa with one hand (or knee) effortlessly and silently,........resulting in a very happy parrot as her cage can still be wheeled into and out of the room. I will definitely be recommending this company and the product to others.

Bought these to help with moving a multi cooker on my counter top. They were easy to fit and did the job well. Exactly what I needed. Very smooth and more importantly no scratching. Highly recommended.
