The black 22mm Flexyfoot Shock Absorbing Walking Stick Ferrule is a revolutionary, uniquely designed ferrule that provides 50% more grip and traction than a traditional rubber ferrule. Slipped once on wet surface

Flexyfoot ferrules are on the crutches, only once I have fallen due to slipping on a slimmy/wet surface; compared to many times on conventional ferrules.
But my worry, in work - we have heavy doors and the ferrules get trapped under the door and the floor when I wedge the door to get through with the crutches. I am most probably damaging the bottom part of the ferrule - but I have to do it - otherwise I don't get through the door. Otherwise, ferrules work better with the cushioning/shock absorber design eases the tension/pressure on my arms

Used my crutches over last 2 days of almost constant rain and with the flexifoot ferrules in place I felt much more confident. Felt that they were gripping the ground securely and I could take longer strides.

An interesting purchases, which does give some shock absorbing characteristics? A little more give would have bee nice. Limited usage to date therefore not able to say how well they are wearing,
